April Favorites

Hiya! I’ve got a few favorites this month that I just had to share with you guys! A majority of these products are also from the drugstore, which means they are pretty affordable. 🙂 I hope you guys enjoy, and don’t forget to let me know what your favorites were this month!

Lip Products

My first favorite this month is the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick in the shade Honeycomb (26$). I’ve seen that lots of other people really like this shade as well. I’ve been wearing this nude a lot and I’m completely in love. This has quickly become one of my favorite nudes of all time. The formula and smell are to die for. If you like nude lipsticks this color from Bite is a must! When I first purchased this lipstick I thought it was going to be similar to Velvet Teddy by MAC, but it’s completely different. I swatched this lipstick in a previous post, click here to see it swatched. 🙂

A huge staple product that I recently discovered is the Vaseline Lip Therapy ($2). This product comes in many different scents and types, but I picked up the creme brulee one.  I have horrible, dry, scarred lips. This lip treatment is the best one for my lips thus far. It plumps my lips back up with hydration while softening them. I use this as a part of my am and pm skincare routine. I’m sure it would be cheaper to just buy a big tub of regular Vaseline, but I personally like things that are small enough to throw in my purse and bring with me if I need to. Also, this product smells really nice, and when a product smells nice I tend to use it more often.

Face Products

The Butter Bronzer ($13) by Physicians Formula has quickly blown me away. Buttery doesn’t even begin to describe the texture of this product. When I apply it it’s like I’m dusting the perfect amount of that “sunny glow” onto my face. It looks so natural and blends seamlessly into the rest of my makeup. When I go on a trip this summer this is the only bronzer I plan to bring with me, it’s THAT good. Just as a warning… this bronzer will not be dark enough for deeper skin tones, it is a very light bronzer. I hope that Physicians Formula expands this product into a line of multiple different shades. If they do come out with more shades, I will totally pick up future shades that are suitable for me.

I bought the MAC 135 face brush ($42) a couple of months ago when an employee recommended it to me. I figured I would give it a try though it is a bit on the pricey side. This brush is perfect for natural looking contouring and bronzing up the skin. The shape is super unique but works so perfectly in its own way. I don’t know if I will ever find a contour/bronzing brush I will like better than this one. It’s the only one I’ve been using for at least the past two months.

Nail Products

The last favorite I have to share this month is a nail polish by Essie in the shade Bahama Mama ($8.5). Bahama Mama is such a juicy berry purple color. My nails aren’t currently painted because I have been super busy, but when they were I kept painting them this color. When I have time to paint my nails again…after this semester is finally over..they will be painted Bahama Mama yet again!

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know if you did and what you thought of them! Also let me know down in the comments what your favorites were this month! Also, would you guys like me to include non-beauty related favorites in future monthly favorite posts?

Hope everyone is doing well…especially all those college kids out there going through finals! Hang in there because the semester is almost over! 😀
