I’ve been feeling very inspired to do dramatic looks with color. I did do a really awesome tangerine smokey eye that I wanted to post but the pictures came out awful! I’ll probably recreate that look in the future and try to get decent pictures of it.
This was the second color inspired look I created. I think this look is truly enthralling. It would be perfect for so many occasions and it really brings out brown eyes!
Wear It Any Day, Anywhere, Anytime…I Mean You Are A Fairy Princess!
If you’re like me and you really don’t care how glam you go on a daily basis then wear this on a random Wednesday! I wore this exact look to Pizza Hut with my boyfriend, when we had to go pick up our pizza. Which…was made incorrectly might I add and given to us burnt. Anyway, back on topic.
Don’t let anyone tell you what is too much or too little to wear…Well unless it’s clothing and you’re out in public. You may want to listen to people in that sort of situation.
The lashes I am wearing are very dramatic. I tried out the KOKO Lashes in the style Foxy. The band on these lashes were a bit more stiff than the House of Lashes premium line of lashes. Which is saying something because those bands are stiffer than most. I still really enjoyed these lashes and found that I was able to blend them in nicely. I could only notice the band in certain lighting.
I Apologize, Again
The lipstick I am wearing with this look happens to be yet again… MAC lipstick in the shade Faux. I cannot get enough of this color. I just want to wear it all day, everyday. If I could, I would get a bathtub filled with these lipsticks, and just smear them all over my body! Too far? Okay..sorry.
Define & Shine
Hush, Hush, Blush, Blush
The blushes I’m wearing on my cheeks are no longer available for sale because they were limited edition :(. However, some of you out there may have them. I used the most current Tarte holiday blush palette. I mixed the two shades Prim and Smashing.
Recently, I purchased nine MUFE Artist Eye Shadows. I used all three of these shades to create this look. In my crease I also used MAC Kid, Omega, and Wedge. I used Fir Tree Green on my outer corners of my eyes. Periwinkle was used slightly in my crease to blend out the shade Blueberry. I also used MAC Espresso and Wedge to buff out the lower lash line.
I really only bought the shade Blueberry because it has the same name as my bird. When I swatched it I was disappointed at first. I always test products out even if the swatches disappoint because products can end up performing better for their intended purpose.
I’m now completely impressed with these shadows and plan to buy even more at some point.
I aim for these makeup inspiration posts to open the creative minds of others and give a vast array of pictures to draw ideas from. Also, I noticed that I am getting views from all over the world and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that stops by and reads what I post.
Have a great weekend!
